The annual series, which features races in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Perth, was to run a round at Premier Speedway on New Year's Day.
Premier Speedway general manager David Mills said the tough decision was in the sport's best interests.
Border restrictions, including Western Australia's hard border, played a role.
"Due to the restrictions, it was going to prove difficult for a number of venues," he said. "This was the only logical and safe decision to make at this time."
Mills said the club's calendar was a work in progress.
The Premier Speedway board is due to meet in the near future and updates on its fixture will be provided afterwards.
