A Bushfield teen who has been waiting since the end of March to sit for her L-plate licence test is worried she will have to wait a lot longer.

Zahli Kelson, 16, said she was disappointed she was unable to get behind the wheel of a car due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"I've been waiting for this for pretty much my whole life," she said.
"It's the first big milestone each teenager is able to experience."
Miss Kelson said she believed there should be some way online tests could be conducted remotely.
She said she hoped she didn't have to wait until next year to get her L-plates due to the backlog of people wanting to sit the test.
Member for South West Coast Roma Britnell called for an urgent resumption of licence testing.
She said extra appointments should be made available to get through the backlog.
"All VicRoads offices need to be conducting tests at least five days a week as a minimum to try and clear the backlog," Ms Britnell said.
"The state government needs to explore recruiting driving instructors as license assessors.
"These are people who are accredited to teach our kids to drive so it shouldn't be to much of an ask to have them accredited to conduct license tests."
Ms Britnell also said Labor's failure to allow for learner's permit tests to be conducted online should not mean safety for young drivers was compromised to clear the backlog.
A response from the state government on the issue has been sought.
