Detective Sergeant Elissa Smith, of the Warrnambool-based divisional tasking unit, said neither driver had any criminal history and the small amounts of drugs located were believed to be for person use.
"It was deemed appropriate to issued caution notices" she said.
"The first driver, a 21-year-old Terang district man, was intercepted about 4.30pm Friday and found to be in possession of small amounts of ecstasy and cannabis.
"Then a 32-year-old Warrnambool man was also issued with a caution notice after being intercepted about 8pm Saturday driving in Banyan Street, Warrnambool.
"He was found in possession of about one gram of cocaine."
Detective Sergeant Smith said no other action would be taken in relation to the two men.
Police are also investigating circumstances surrounding a car found burnt out north of Portland early Sunday morning.
