For Powercor crews to conduct works safely, power had to be temporarily switched off to 117 customers between 9am and 3pm.
The work included the replacement of five poles along Nelson Street and the installation of new aluminium conductors.

The road was close to allow a number of trucks to carry out the work on Thursday.
Powercor said all customers were notified at least 10 days before the planned work via letters and text messages to keep them up to date on restoration times.
"All planned works are carefully considered by our crews to minimise the impact to customers," a Powercor spokesperson said.
