A 34-year-old Camperdown man is in Warrnambool police station cells after allegedly grabbing a woman around the neck, picking her up, dropping her and breaking her ankle.

The incident happened in November last year and the woman required surgery.
The accused man has been arrested, interviewed, charged with recklessly causing serious injury, possession of methamphetamine and cannabis, and also another assault involving him allegedly cutting a neighbour's forehead with a knife.
Police have remanded the accused man in custody to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court for a bail/remand hearing on Wednesday.
It's understood the alleged offending related to two incidents which happened during November and December last year.
Police allege that in November last year the man grabbed a woman around the neck, picked her up, she blacked out and he dropped her.
She heard a cracking sound and it was later found she had suffered a broken ankle which required surgery.
In December it's alleged the man was drinking alcohol with a former neighbour when he got angry and the neighbour suffered a cut to his forehead with a knife.
