Her vibrant business Tilly Divine Kitchen and Bar was open for just three days before being forced to move to a takeaway model in March.

She said it was "a hard slog" for eight weeks and she was rapt when it could finally open its doors to dine-in customers.

But Wednesday will be the cafe's last day before the return to stage-three restrictions.

Fortunately, Ms Street said she and her staff had "overcome their teething problems" in the first lockdown, which she said happened with little warning and when her business had no intention of offering takeaway food.

"This time around we'll have a more reliable ordering app and more things to choose from on our takeaway menu," she said.

"We'll be providing a home-delivery service to the Warrnambool area for the first time and we've also got a few surprises up our sleeve that people can keep an eye on, on our social media."

Ms Street said there were a few tears shed over the recent restrictions, which start from midnight Wednesday, but she hoped the community would continue to support small businesses.

"Last time was a ghost town but I'm hoping with masks and home delivery, we will stay busy," she said.

"And yesterday and today we have just been flat out, I think everyone is booking in for that 'last hoorah' before we go back into lockdown."
