Bushell confirmed the club had ceased its junior netball and football training on Thursday.
"We still haven't counted training out as yet in the future," he said.
The Lions had decided to continue training despite the Warrnambool and District league junior season being cancelled last week.

The club's junior footballers were set to hit the track on Thursday night.
"(The pandemic) just seems to be getting a lot worse, we think it's too risky now," Bushell said.
"Just with the developments of today especially."
Premier Daniel Andrews, on Thursday, announced masks would mandatory across Victoria from 11.59pm on Sunday.
Bushell wants club members to feel connected despite no senior or junior competitions or training.
"What we're doing is brainstorming to come up with activities over the summer," he said.
"We haven't got anything official yet.
"Depends on whether you can get together in person or not.
"We're like everyone else, we're in limbo."
Bushell said keeping members connected was vital for numerous reasons.
One of his concerns is losing junior players.
"We could lose kids to the sport forever," he said.
He added sport was great for physical and mental health.
