The emerging midfielder was among the Roosters' best in their convincing win against Koroit in the Hampden under 18.5 competition last week.
It was the Roosters' first competitive game of 2020, coming in late July after the COVID-19 pandemic threw football seasons across Victoria into chaos, ultimately forcing Hampden to scrap its senior season and focus on juniors.
Stevens, a bottom-age prospect with NAB League club GWV Rebels, relished the chance to play again and is hopeful of getting a game in the shortened statewide under 18 season when it kicks off on August 22 too.
The Emmanuel College student features on this week's The Main Break podcast where he also discusses his teammates, including younger brother George.
