A driver who avoided police while children were leaving the St Joseph's Primary School is wanted for questioning by police.

A Warrnambool police spokeswoman said that on Thursday, June 25, a Holden Berlina avoided police officers during an attempted intercept near the school.
"The driver's behaviour was erratic around the roads near the St Joseph's Primary School, Warrnambool, as students were leaving," she said.
"The vehicle is a dark coloured 1998 Holden Berlina and had P-plates.
"The driver was Caucasian, had a beard and there was two other occupants in the car.
"If you witnessed this incident, or know the car or driver, please contact Senior Constable Jason Barker at the Warrnambool police highway patrol unit on 5560 1333 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."
