A wanted 30-year-old Portland man has been arrested at a city motel and remanded in custody.

Police said the man was wanted in relation to theft of a vehicle.
"He was arrested at a Dutton Way motel, interviewed, charged and remanded in custody overnight to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday for a bail/remand hearing," a spokesman said.
"The man has been charged with five offences, including theft of the car, deception and drug offences," he said.
The man appeared briefly in Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday and was remanded in custody.
He will appear in court again on Tuesday for a bail application.
Portland uniform police officers have also arrested a 27-year-old man after a family violence incident at a Portland motel on Friday night.
The incident at Mac's Hotel was initially reported to police as a break-in.
The man was arrested by police on Sunday and is expected to be charged on summons with family violence-related offending and causing criminal damage.
Damage to the motel unit has been valued at about $2000 after windows and a television were broken.
