Some matches between Cobden and Terang Mortlake, and Camperdown and South Warrnambool, were postponed on Saturday.
Those matches were at Cobden Recreation Reserve and Camperdown's Leura Oval.
With that information, Saints co-coach Joe Woonton urged his troops to enjoy their match at Victoria Park.
"I just said make sure you enjoy today," he said.
"It could be the first and last game of the season."

The Saints marched to a resounding 10.13 (73) to 1.0 (6) victory against the Seagulls.
Now players such as Koroit's Jake McCosh and Max Lumsden are eager to know what the postponement means for the junior season.
Both players featured in their team's best on Saturday.
"We found out about an hour before (our game), we were pretty confident ours would go ahead" Lumsden said.
"It will be interesting to see what happens through the week."
The half-back flanker is planning to enjoy every moment of the season.
"It's good to get back, don't know how long we'll be able to play for so I'm just liking every game and playing it by ear," he said.
McCosh, who booted two goals, was pleased to have footy back.
"It was good to get on the field with the boys, running around with a few of our mates from Port Fairy," he said.
The 16-year-old, who plays half-forward flank and ruck, didn't expect to be playing in 2020.
"We didn't really expect to get back at all but it was good to get back on the field and have a run around," he said.
Meanwhile, Portland defeated North Warrnambool Eagles by two points while Hamilton Kangaroos proved too strong for Warrnambool in the other completed under 18.5 matches.
The Cobden and Terang Mortlake match didn't go ahead, nor did the Camperdown and South Warrnambool under 18.5 clash.
Portland also got the honours over North Warrnambool Eagles in the 17 and under netball.
Koroit beat Port Fairy while Warrnambool scored a win against Hamilton Kangaroos.
