Those visiting patients at South West Healthcare, including Warrnambool and Camperdown hospitals and Merindah Lodge, will be given a single-use mask to wear while onsite for their one-hour visit.
It will be a blanket rule for SWH's aged care facility, but will be assessed on a case-by-case basis at other services.
Lyndoch Living said its visitors do not have to wear masks as they have not been directed to do so by the state government.
All visitors at Moyne Health's urgent care, acute and aged care centres will be required to wear masks.
Chief executive Jackie Kelly said an additional COVID-19 screening clinic will be set up on Monday.
"It's been popular and we've had a positive response from the community," she said.
Portland District Health will require all visitors from the locked down areas to wear masks when visiting patients.
This week SWH tested its processes by running a five-hour desktop-simulated COVID 'scare' in the Warrnambool Base Hospital's medical wards.
The mock scenario involved more than 30 SWH staff, including environmental services, pharmacy, nursing students and allied health.
Chief executive Craig Fraser said there is still no detail in relation to the state government having reported, on Sunday, a confirmed COVID-19 case linked to Warrnambool.
He said SWH did not carry out this screening and it is not known if the person currently resides in Warrnambool.
Due to high demand for COVID-19 testing in Hamilton, Western District Health Service has opened its drive-through clinic for weekday mornings from 7.30am to 9am, in addition to 1pm to 3pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 12pm Saturday.
