From the moment you hand over your locks to the professionals at Deta Hair & Beauty, you can be certain that you will come away a new woman.
Whether it is a simple trim, full styling or adding a dash colour, the skilled team at Deta Hair & Beauty can help make your hair dreams come true.
Kyra Crow started the salon as a sole trader in 2012 and since that time Deta Hair and Beauty has grown, evolving to a booming small business featuring five hairdressers and two beauty therapists.
The salon is renowned for its hair colouring - using the stunning Zenz Therapy Alternative Colour range - and hair cuts, as well as its waxing services.
Having been in operation for eight years, Kyra says much of the salon's success is all about treating clients with respect.
"We treat our client like friends or family," she said.
"We appreciate each one of our clients and enjoy having them come into us on a regular basis and being a part of their lives.
"By treating everyone as if they are our family, it means we can go above and beyond to accommodate our clients and attempt as best as we can to work in with their lifestyles."
While the recent shutdown due to COVID-19 has been difficult and the "second wave" currently engulfing the state also has businesses worried, Kyra is firmly focussed on the future for Deta Hair & Beauty.
"Hopefully we can just continue doing amazing hair styles and services for our clients," she said.
"I am hoping to do a lot more hair education programs when things have settled down and we can have more educators visit us."
She is thankful for the support of the Koroit community and looking forward to continuing to be a part of its continued success, as well as attracting clients from further afield.
"Koroit is a fantastic community," Kyra said.
"It's a fast paced little village that keeps on buzzing.
"Being in the middle of Warrnambool and Port Fairy and neighbouring towns means we also get people from all over the region."
