The Camperdown schoolgirl is the public face of NETFIT's Get Ready program, aimed at players between the ages of 11 and 14 to promote health and well-being.
Matea, 11, has filmed 12 episodes which can be viewed on the NETFIT app.
The episodes will be unveiled every Thursday.
Matea has known NETFIT founder Sarah Wall, a former Super Netball midcourter who grew up in Camperdown, for most of her life.
The St Patrick's Primary School grade five student said Wall knew she loved netball and that her family "all acts".
"I like being able to do it and having fun with Sarah, doing all the work outs and getting more fit and making kids get up and get active," she said. "I like helping them get better. I am just very grateful to have the chance."
Dad Michael, who is the principal at St Patrick's Primary School, said the program's live feeds - developed to introduce the initiative - had captured a wide audience.
"I think it's even international, when we were doing the live feeds, there's been people from all over the world - Hong Kong, England, New Zealand," he said.
"All the live feeds they've done recently are to promote the app I suppose. It is to promote netball and get people up and moving, from adults down to kids."
Matea enjoys playing netball in Camperdown in a competition designed to develop players for the Hampden league.
"I like goal attack but I don't really care (which position) I like them all," she said.
