After 25 years of giving each other the same birthday card, Amanda Suckling and Geraldine Ryan say it acts as a time capsule for their lives.

And despite there being no room left to write on the card, the Warrnambool friends aren't about to call time on their tradition.
So after 25 years, Geraldine will hold on to the card and lash out on a new one which they plan to use for the next 25 years.
Every birthday we get together for a cuppa and swap it.

When Amanda first sent the card to Geraldine for her birthday in June 1995, she told her it had extra pages and she wanted it back - and that's exactly what has happened every year since.
"We haven't missed a year," Amanda said.
"We've just been writing back and forth.
"Every birthday we get together for a cuppa and swap it. It's documented marriages, pregnancies and kids."
Geraldine said they each try and write something a little bit different every year.
The friends, who have known each other since they were 17, laugh when they joke about how much money and trees they have saved with their birthday tradition.
"We'll start a new card for my birthday," Amanda said.
"Geraldine has to buy a nice one with lots of pages in October and start again and see if we get to 25 years and then I get to keep that one.
"I lost it this year for a second. I went to get the envelope out and it was gone."
The friends even joke about leaving the cards to each other in their wills.
