"I thought about it the other day and I feel I would have enjoyed it being with all the boys, especially in Queensland," the Brisbane resident said.
"The Adelaide and Perth teams seem like they are enjoying it. Haven't thought too much about it but being a family person and a very social person it would have been tough."
The 2011 Melbourne best and fairest commended the AFL for how it had handled the coronavirus situation.
"They have the best health professionals talking them through it so they don't make the wrong decision and it gives themselves the best hope to play and they are coping as well as they can," he said.

The former tough midfielder, who was drafted to the Cats from the Geelong Falcons in the 2003 pre-season draft, said he would not feel anxious if he was to play a club after it had recorded a positive test.
"If the other club had been tested and cleared I wouldn't be thinking about it too much. If they tested and cleared it's game on," he said.
