Koroit police are seeking witnesses to the theft of motor vehicle at Killarney overnight on Saturday that resulted in the stolen car being torched at Garvoc.

The 2000 model blue Toyota Corolla was stolen overnight Saturday from Killarney where it was parked beside the Princes Highway and then located at 5am on Sunday on fire at Garvoc, after colliding with a sign post.
"Whoever was driving and stole the car struck a sign post at the intersection of the Framlingham-Garvoc Road and Chards Lane at Garvoc," Sergeant Patrick Day said.
"The vehicle was then set on fire.
"Anyone with information or who saw the car either being driven or set alight is asked to contact the Koroit police station on 5565 8202 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000."
