A Warrnambool bus passenger has been arrested and remand in custody overnight after threatening to put a bullet in the head of a bus driver.

Warrnambool police Sergeant Jimmy Beaumont said the man was identified through security camera footage, arrested on Wednesday and would appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Thursday for a bail/remand hearing.
Police allege that last Thursday the man boarded a bus in Lava Street mid afternoon.
He then was involved in disruptive behaviour on the bus causing other passengers to feel uncomfortable.
The bus driver threatened to pull over and call police if the man did not behave in an appropriate manner.
The passenger threatened to put a bullet in the head of the bus driver.
The bus driver pulled over, passengers got off and the disgruntled passenger got off the bus and walked away.
He has since been identified through CCTV and was arrested.
Sergeant Beaumont the man had been charged with making a threat to kill and breaching bail offences.
He was on bail for causing damage.
The man is also currently on a community corrections order for engaging in threatening behaviour.
