A high pressure system over southwestern Victoria will slowly cross the state today before stalling over north-east Victoria on Friday and weaken.
A cold front crossing waters south of the Bight approaches the state's south by Friday night.
The cold front will move to the east of Victoria during Saturday as a new high pressure system strengthens in the Bight.
The second high will approach western Victoria late on Sunday.
