With coronavirus restrictions suspending time in the studio, 16 presenters including Warrnambool's Ann Morris have been busy recording new programs from home.
Ms Morris has been involved in 3WAY for 20 years and is a presenter of The Beat Goes On.
She was able to present her program from her laptop studio in her kitchen by uploading it to the station's studio computer to be broadcast by remote control.
Station president John MacInnes said he was excited to see local content back on the airwaves.
"For the last six weeks we have relied on 24 hours a day of programming from the Community Radio Network, a service we have used overnight for years," he said.
"However we are very much aware that one of our strengths is the local flavour of our programs, so this will help fill that gap."
The station is also preparing a way of broadcasting the reading of The Standard's articles, a service that was taken up by 3WAY last year after Vision Australia closed its Warrnambool service.

"The reading of The Standard has been a casualty of the lockdown so we're going to do it by phone so people don't have to come into the studio," Mr MacInnes said.
"We usually have a panel operator and two readers but we're not allowed with the distancing rules so we had a brainwave that we could do it over the phone and one of us could be at the panel and dial up the reader.
"We are optimistic that our Regional Radio News will return as early as next week in the same 12.30 to 1pm time slot.
"3WAY presenters are all volunteers and this has been a steep learning curve for many of them. They have missed presenting their shows and listeners have missed hearing them.
"This new approach allows us to resume presenting some local content while at the same time maintaining full compliance with the prevailing coronavirus measures."
From May 4, there will be four new one hour programs from 8.30am to 12.30pm, Monday to Friday.
