Their tragic deaths sent shock waves across the country, with thousands taking to social media to pay tribute to the fallen heroes.
"Tonight we have lit up blue to acknowledge the efforts of all Victoria Police officers and pay tribute to the four officers who tragically lost their lives this week while serving the community," the Lighthouse Theatre posted on social media.
It comes after Warrnambool police reported having been overwhelmed with community support following the incident.
Local area commander Brett Jackson told The Standard flowers had been left at police stations around Warrnambool, Moyne and Corangamite council areas.
"At each station there was an array of flowers that had been left out the front or brought into the station as well as cakes and other goods," he said.
"It was all well received by the members in those stations. The community support has been a bit overwhelming."
Acting Inspector Jackson said Victoria Police members were all impacted by the tragedy.
"We are clearly suffering but to see the community as a whole is right behind us is very comforting," he said.
"There was a Port Campbell officer intercepted by a member of the public who just stopped him to just thank us for our efforts.
"Those sort of stories are very touching.
"I know the Warrnambool watch house resembles a florist at the moment. It is genuinely quite overwhelming."
