Ava Pierce, 16, and Ashley Evans, 17, joined the Reid Oval-based club in the off-season after playing consistently in the Seagulls open grade in recent seasons.
And the duo have already made a big impression on co-captain - Amy Wormald. In the shooters' player profile on the club's Facebook page she said the pair were some of the side's best passes.
Open coach Raewyn Poumako has also been impressed by the duo since they arrived at the club.
"As a club we are really lucky to have two young players of their calibre come across," she said.
"Both have different attributes to offer. Their training and effort at training is spot on. They train like they play and they set high standard as well and it shows.
"I have been really impressed with what both Ava and Ash offer as leaders as well. They step up when needed and lead by example and also have great knowledge.
"Ava has lots to offer coming from her VNL (Victorian Netball League with Geelong Cougars) training and games. They are good role models with experience and it shows others what to do if they want to get into higher level pathways."

Poumako said the pair will split their time between a number of grades at the Blues.
"Ava will take a starting position in midcourt and she can play anywhere in there," she said.
"She swaps in great with all the combos we have and is very smart on the court with her space and she has a lot to offer our team.
"Ash will play between the open, A1 and under 17s side and play through a midcourt role and as a back up goalie.
"I like to play players that compliment each other and she fits in well with the group and when needed as a shorter goalie she will fit in well with the main two goalies in Amy and Jess (Thwaites)."
Poumako said she was preparing to launch a teams challenge, like rivals Koroit and Warrnambool and District league side Panmure have, within her squad as a way to keep fitness and morale up during the pandemic.
