Managing director Gene Seabrook put the necessary actions in place to not only house essential workers in a safe and clean environment, but also ensure his staff are looked after.
"I had been looking at places like China and Italy who are way in front of us with the coronavirus outbreak and thinking about how important it is for essential service workers to have a place where they feel safe," he said.
"During this time of crisis businesses are taking extreme measures to ensure essential personnel can maintain good health."

Mid City Motel staff are going above and beyond to ensure the environment remains COVID-19 free. This includes residing in the motel themselves, offering housekeeping by request and wearing full protective gear when cleaning. The motel also has a commercial laundry onsite with temperatures adjusted to meet regulations.
The motel rooms have their own separate entrance and car park and are installed with Split systems, WiFi and desks.
The on-site restaurant is closed but room service is available and delivery from local businesses can occur.
"For the time being the motel is operating exclusively for the needs of essential and emergency service staff to allow them to continue to fulfil their roles within the community," Mr Seabrook said.
"Mid City Motel is ideal for businesses with staff working in vital services such as health care, aged care, food production where it is necessary to take precautionary measures to protect their health rather than them staying at home with their families during this time."

Mr Seabrook said he has been able to keep some of his casual workers by giving full-time and part-time staff annual leave.
Between his business at Deep Blue and Mid City Motel, Mr Seabrook employed 107 staff and now has 25 of those actively working.
"We are doing what we can for our staff and I reach our regularly on a personal note to update them and alert them to information I come across like the stimulus packages," he said.
