A YOUNG Hamilton probationary driver will face court after he was allegedly caught driving more than two times the legal alcohol limit with a younger sibling in the car.
The 21-year-old was intercepted by Hamilton police around 3am on Saturday morning and allegedly returned an EBT reading of .191.
Hamilton Sergeant Pam Nix said the man's licence was suspended and 2008 Ford Falcon sedan impounded.
"He is being interviewed in relation to unrelated offences including excess speed," she said.
"He will appear in Hamilton Magistrates' Court at a later date."
