Ms Van Kempen has launched Warrnambool Business 2 Business for owners and managers to join and discuss their concerns and ideas.
"When we closed up business I was looking at going to help the elderly with their shopping but, of course, there's a lot of health concerns with that," she said.
"I realised there was nothing for businesses to support each other.
"I'd been getting a lot of contact from businesses and sharing ideas with them and at 4am one morning I woke up with the idea of the group."

"It's a place we can be united as a group and proactive in this down time," she said.
"We can build to be a stronger force to promote Warrnambool.
"This will also help businessperson's mental health as it's something a little bit positive we can do from home."
