The team at Collins Booksellers have recommendations for everyone: Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine by Gail Honeyman. The story of Eleanor is original, heartbreaking and hilarious all at the same time. A wonderful read following quirky characters. I couldn't put it down.
The Lost Man by Jane Harper. An utterly gripping thriller set in remote outback Australia that you will consume in one sitting. The Girlfriend by Michelle Francis. A good psychological thriller depicting typical rivalry in family relationships. A real page turner with manipulative and scheming characters.
The Wife and the Widow by Christian White. The is a great read - two stories woven into one. Lots of twists and turns that will keep you guessing right until the end.
And for the children: The Beast of Buckingham Palace by David Walliams. set in the future, 12-year-old Prince Alfred has to battle with beasts and evil forces in order to protect his kingdom.
