Show time: Fifteen Minutes of Fame is back at St Brigid's Hall, Crossley from 7.30pm but head in earlier for some delicious dinner. This month Sleuth, Ezzy Duo, Hayley Wason, Don Cowling, Tess and Melody, Mellofellow, Little Gem and The Draytion Family Band will take to the stage.

Art: The F Project opens their new exhibition milieu at 6pm. Artists Alison McIntosh and Julie Keating come together for the show which is open Wednesdays-Sundays 10am-4pm at the Timor Street gallery.

Live music: The GabLou Duo will perform at the Sean Chai Irishbar from 9.30pm.

Port Fairy Folk Festival: Fill your long weekend with the sounds of all things folk and everything in between with the acclaimed Port Fairy Folk Festival. The festivities kick off from 5pm with the opening parade at Fiddlers Green and run through the night and practically non-stop until Monday afternoon. There's a bunch of free music throughout the Festival Village if you can't snag a ticket or grab a last-minute ticket to hear music from the likes of Shane Howard, Archie Roach, The Blind Boys of Alabama and Ruby Gill. Run: Parkrun meets every Saturday at Lake Pertobe at 8am in Warrnambool and at South Beach in Port Fairy at 7.50am.

Surf: More than 1100 nippers will hit Warrnambool beach for the Lifesaving Victoria junior state championships. The three-day competition starts on Saturday morning and runs until Monday lunchtime.

Volleyball: The 46th annual Seaside Tournaments kicks off at 8am and runs until Monday. There are 72 teams entered into volleyball tournament with over $7500 in prizes up for grabs.

Magic: Join Urban Kulture for two short courses of skill development in outdoor mushroom cultivation techniques at the Archie Graham Centre from 10am and the Port Fairy Community House from 4pm. For more information and tickets head to urbankulture.com.au

Tennis: Warrnambool Lawn Tennis Club will host its annual March long weekend tournament, starting on Saturday and wrapping up with finals on Monday.

Vehicles: The 44^th annual Cobden Vintage Rally begins at 10am and runs until Sunday afternoon at the Racecourse Park Rally Ground. There will be running and static displays, machinery, tractors, cars, trucks, plenty of stall holders and auctions to entertain you throughout the weekend.

Croquet: Warrnambool Croquet Club hosts cricket croquet each Saturday at its Cramer Street complex. Meet at 1.15pm and $5 entry will also get you afternoon tea.

Tunes: Nick Ferguson will light up The Cally Hotel from 9pm.

Market: Warrnambool's showgrounds will hold its weekly undercover market from 8am to 1pm.

Thai New Year: Songkram celebrates the Thai New Year from 10am-4pm at Lake Pertobe. There will be plenty of cultural activities, food and music to enjoy throughout the day.

Gig: Geoff Achison will delight you at Hotel Warrnambool from 3pm.

Bowls and songs: Darren Ely will perform a range of hits at the Warrnambool Bowls Club from 4pm.

Women's Walk: Deakin University is hosting an International Women's Day Walk from 10am at the campus.

Theatre: American Song is the latest play from acclaimed Australian playwright Joanna Murray-Smith and tackles the confronting and heartbreaking issue of gun violence. The show begins at 7.30pm at The Lighthouse Theatre.

Produce: Warrnambool Community Garden Market is held every Wednesday from 3-7pm with fresh local produce and sustainable products. The event is waste-free so bring your own shopping bag and keep cup and leave your dog at the gate.

Film: The F Project presents Casa de mi Padre, a comedy melodrama starring Will Ferrell, at Mozart Hall.

Jumps: Warrnambool Racing Club hosts jump racing from 12pm.
