Bulls skipper Matthew Love has found his mojo - and it's come just a fortnight out from Warrnambool and District Cricket Association finals.
Love, who returned to Brierly-Christ Church from Victorian Premier Cricket club Greenvale Kangaroos last winter, notched his first "big score" of the season on Saturday.
The 40-year-old blasted 140 to help the Bulls record a 397-run total against Allansford.
It was a real pleasure to build partnerships with some of the other guys throughout the innings.

Love told The Standard he was pleased to find form after an up-and-down season which has been partially curtailed by injury.
"I've had one of those seasons, I've tried to chip away and do my bit at the top of the order," he said.
"I was pretty keen personally to get a big score. Starting off the day on 42 helps and the ball already being 23 overs helps as well.
"I knuckled down and thought it was a good opportunity. It was a real pleasure to build partnerships with some of the other guys throughout the innings."
The knock surpassed Love's previous highest score for the season - a 40-run haul against Woodford in round five - by 100.
The score - and eventual victory over Allansford - meant Brierly-Christ Church locked down the minor premiership.
Love said several strong characters had his side primed to perform in finals.
"The Murphy brothers (Nathan and Mark) are just all passion, and their name has been around a long time with Brierly," he said.
"At the start of the game, Nathan has his bit to say and tries to get the boys up and about.
"One message that we've said is that the club has been down the lower end of the ladder for a number of years and we've got this opportunity at the moment where we're playing well and sitting on top of the ladder."
Brierly faces Nestles on Saturday.
