"The whole focus of the concert is about peace."
Warrnambool Racing Club committee member Peter Lynch said the concert showcased Warrnambool's "heart of gold".
"The Racing Club committee voted unanimously for the Rotary Peace Concert and Community Awards to be the recipient of its 2020 community support program," he said.
"The Rotary Peace concert is in its ninth year and with incredibly inspiring acts such as the Find Your Voice Choir, we feel some additional funding will really support this event to continue to thrive.
"It's much more than just a show to watch, it is a community event promoting the strengths and talents of local people doing remarkable things for our community."
Performers at the 2020 Rotary Peace Concert include the Find Your Voice All Abilities Choir, John McCutcheon, The Maes, Gina Williams and Guy Ghouse.
Doors open at 7.15pm for the Rotary Club of Warrnambool Central Peace Concert at the Lighthouse Theatre on Thursday March 5. Tickets are available at the venue.
