Police are investigating a potential crime spree that left a trail of destruction in Port Fairy at the weekend.

Port Fairy police Leading Senior Constable Chris Vorwerk said the tyres of three vehicles were slashed overnight on Friday.
He said two vehicles were parked in Beach Street and the third in Griffiths Street, between the Moyne River bridge and footbridge.
The combined damage bill was about $2500.
Leading Senior Constable Vorwerk said police also received reports of a burglary and theft from a yacht moored about 50 metres south of the Moyne River foot bridge.
The unknown offender, or offenders, forced entry to the front latch of the yacht and stole alcohol from a fridge.
A trampoline at a private residence in Cox Street was also damaged overnight Friday, with damage totalling about $2000.
"All these crimes occurred in a close proximity to each other," Leading Senior Constable Vorwerk said.
