Mortlake, who cemented its third-place status in an upset victory over powerhouse Koroit on Saturday, will practice on Terang's greens mid-week leading into a do-or-die clash against Timboon.
Mortlake third Darren Grant said his side was keen to get a feel for the Corangamite Shire club's surface.
"We'll go for a drive and practice there as we've only played their once this season," he said.
We'll go in knowing we have a chance of beating anyone.

"It's great to be playing Timboon as they're another small club. It's great to see these smaller clubs in the finals.
"We'll go in knowing we have a chance of beating anyone."
Mortlake defeated Koroit two rinks to one to book its finals berth. It spelled heartbreak for Koroit, who last season contested the Western District Bowls Division grand final.
The loss meant the Moyne Shire powerhouse finished sixth, missing out on finals action.
Grant said his side showed mental fortitude to defeat the beaten grand finalist.
"It's a good effort across the board to withstand the pressure for the whole game," he said.
"We didn't just fall away. Often if you just stay in a game things can fall your way. We were able to maintain that pressure."
As a result, Mortlake's confidence is booming. Grant said the club knew it was the "underdog" but would back itself to tackle powerhouse opponents in City Red and Warrnambool Gold.
"We've lost only narrowly to City both times we've played them and I think it was the same for Warrnambool," he said.
"We know we're underdogs but at the same time we have nothing to lose.
"We won't lose any supporters. Getting to finals has been a good achievement."
