The Paddy Mahony-led Bulldogs were steady as they stunned premiership rival Grassmere on Saturday, cementing their status in second place.
Mahony said defeating talent-laden Grassmere - the Meerkats boast several top-end players - was a confidence booster.
"We probably played an even game all day. They got away to a good start but we never lost our bundle," he said.
"We didn't have a lot of luck go our way but we just kept bowling well."
That mantra will drive Panmure forward as it strives for peak consistency in its final round battle against Wangoom on Saturday.
Mahony said it was vital for his men to practice good habits leading into finals action.
"It's about trying to get the right blokes in good form at the right time," he said.
"You want everyone batting and bowling well because you never know who you'll have to call upon."
Panmure is in line to meet Grassmere in a semi-final.
