Photographer Perry Cho said helping to deal with mental health issues was an important task for the community.
"Jeff Dennis (principal at Breakwater Insurance) and I deal with a lot of businesses and a lot of people suffer from mental health issues, especially in the farming areas," he said.
"We wanted to make sure the money stays local, other national charities are good but they take the money away."
Let's Talk's John Parkinson said the money would help the group expand their footprint.
"We are speechless," he said.
"This allows us to expand our delivery right across the south-west into Glenelg and the Southern Grampians and we have been invited into New South Wales and in Gippsland after the fires.
"I firmly believe people are fed up with hiding, they want to speak up and be true to themselves.
"We also have a new home, most of the work has been out of the boot of a car to this point, and we are hoping to establish a drop-in centre."
Mr Dennis said the groups wanted to support a real local cause.
"We think this is something that will really help the community," Mr Dennis said.
