Carlin has filled in for numerous teams in his first year with the club.
On Tuesday he played in his first ever mid-week pennant contest.

Carlin filled in for City Memorial Gold which defeated Dennington Dolphins 79-70 shots at home in the Western District Bowls Division.
The man who is skipper for City Blue in division two on Saturdays, took a back seat and played as a second on Tuesday.
"The team I mostly play with is on top and clear so will be in finals," he said.
"And I've just filled in for other sides along the way."
City Gold is now in the division one mid-week pennant finals series. The 14-round pennant wrapped up on Tuesday.
Carlin has also played for City Gold and City White in weekend pennant this summer.
The bowler of seven years has also had stints at Terang and Warrnambool Bowls Club.
"You just get hooked," he said of the sport.
"It's a good team game."
It's finals time in the mid-week pennant next week with Warrnambool Gold, Timboon Maroon, City Gold and Koroit Orange making the four.
Third-ranked City Gold will play fourth-placed Koroit Orange in the first semi-final.
Ladder-leader Warrnambool Gold will face Timboon Maroon in the second semi-final.
