The 11-year-old threw 25.98 metres to take gold and break the under 11 boys record at the Western Country Region Track and Field Carnival in Ballarat.
The Warrnambool Little Athletics (WLA) member was thrilled to achieve the milestone on the weekend.
"I'm excited and very happy because not many people can throw as far as I've thrown," he said.
"I don't really practice that much, so to do it without much training and build in my arms was pretty cool."

The youngster made sure to acknowledge his achievement.
"I celebrated with lots of lollies to keep my energy up," he said.
The club also got right behind him.
"We had a big Warrnambool team, when everybody found out, I got a big cheer when I was on the podium," he said.
Surprisingly, it wasn't even Geordie's personal best throw.
He threw 26m in WLA competition earlier this season.
The Grassmere Primary School student is destined for the Little Athletics State Track and Field Championships on March 14 and 15 in Melbourne.
"I'm excited and nervous because it's a big event and you have to throw really far," he said.
Geordie reckons he can throw further with some training.
Discus wasn't the only throwing event Geordie did well in.
He also claimed silver in javelin.
Again he did no specific training. He just gives his best at WLA competitions on Friday evenings.
He also did well in his favourite events, the 1500m and 800m.
He claimed silver in the 1500m and bronze in the 800m.
He thanked Jill McKenzie for her guidance with running.
Fellow club member Grace Kelly also broke two records at the carnival in Ballarat.
She claimed the under 14 girls 200m in a time of 26.4 seconds and the 100m in 12.77 seconds.
The promising sprinter was able to claim the milestones despite cold and windy conditions.
