Principal Robert Dowell was thankful for the donations.
"It's an absolutely fabulous effort by the committee and everyone who went to the show," he said.
"We have been blown away by the number of people who have supported the opening of the new school.
"To get community support for the extra things we need has been marvellous.
"This donation will help up fill our sensory room with equipment."
The school opened at the start of the academic year and the $4000 will contribute to items students can see, touch, feel and hear in the specialist sensory room.
Koroit Truck Show secretary Julie Houlihan was delighted to hand over the cheque.
"We are sure the money will be well used by the school," she said.
"The money comes from throughout the truck show and we try to support a different charity each year.
"Throughout the 11 years of the show we have raised around $50,000."
