Victoria Police Sano taskforce investigator Sergeant Karen Bramich said former Monivae College brother John David Frith was committed to stand trial during February last year after a hearing in the Melbourne Magistrates Court.
She said the committal hearing involved five complainants and more than a dozen charges.
A Warrnambool complainant has now been added to the case which is scheduled to go to trial in the Melbourne County Court on March 10.
Monivae College is understood to have been established by a Catholic religious order, the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.
The charges relate to historical sex assault complaints alleged to have been committed in the 1970s and 80s.
