A broad trough of low pressure over central and eastern Victoria will move east and weaken today as a large high south of the Bight moves east.
The high will pass to the south of Tasmania Wednesday night, reaching the south Tasman Sea on Thursday as another trough extends from western NSW to western Victoria.
This trough will deepen as it moves slowly eastwards during Friday.
