An 18-year-old Grovedale woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident at Noorat on Monday - the third fatality on south-west roads in 12 days.

Sergeant David Walkley, of Port Fairy police, said the incident occurred about 9.15am on the Mortlake-Terang Road near Noorat.
"She has lost control of her vehicle on the gravel shoulder and collided head on with a Toyota Prado," he said.
He said the woman was trapped in her car for some time but was unable to be revived by paramedics.
"Unfortunately due to the injuries she suffered in the collision she passed away at the scene," Sergeant Walkley said.
He said there were three occupants in the Prado - two Mortlake women aged 37 and 25 and a child. Both women suffered minor injuries. A three-year-old boy suffered suspected fractures.
All three were taken by ambulance to Warrnambool Base Hospital, Sergeant Walkley said.
The major collision unit was contacted and Warrnambool police highway patrol would investigate the cause of the crash.
Sergeant Walkley said it was the third major accident on south-west roads he had attended in eight days.
"People just have to take more care and drive to the conditions," he said.
"Country roads can be very dangerous at times."
A farmer on a tractor alerted emergency services to the crash.
The crash came in the same fortnight as an accident that took the life of a young man at Woorndoo on January 30.
The following night near Allansford a man was killed in a single vehicle accident.
And on Saturday night a cyclist sustained critical injuries after attempting to cross the Princes Highway at Dennington and he is fighting for life.

12.14pm: An 18-year-old female from Grovedale was the person killed in a two vehicle accident at Noorat.

"At about 9.15am this morning an 18-year-old female from Grovedale near Geelong was travelling north on the Mortlake-Terang Road at Noorat," Sergeant Walkley said.
"She has lost control of her vehicle on the gravel shoulder and collided head on with a Toyota Prado."
Sergeant Walkley said the 18-year-old female driver was trapped in her car for some time.
He said she was unable to be revived by paramedics and died at the scene.
"Unfortunately due to the injuries she suffered in the collision she passed away at the scene," Sergeant Walkley said.
He said there were three occupants in the Prado - a 37-year-old female from Mortlake and a 25-year-old female from Mortlake.
Both suffered minor injuries.
A three-year-old boy who was a passenger in the car suffered suspected fractures.
"All three have been conveyed by road ambulance to the Warrnambool hospital," Sergeant Walkley said.
He said the major collision unit had been contacted and Warrnambool police highway patrol would investigate the cause of the crash.

The accident occurred shortly after 9am on the Terang-Mortlake Road.
Another person has been airlifted to a Melbourne hospital.
Earlier: Emergency services are responding to an accident at Noorat.
A CFA Media spokesman said the authority received a call about 9.15am on Monday morning.
He said there was one or more persons trapped in a vehicle at the scene.
Terang-Mortlake Road is closed in both directions between the Hamilton Highway, Mortlake and McKinnons Bridge Road.
CFA personnel and SES are on the scene.
