Organiser Bruce Lowenthal said the thrill of finding a unique or a long-desired item could give a large adrenaline rush.
"When you find something that fits into your collection you have been looking for it really gives you a thrill," Mr Lowenthal said.
"One room at the show will be full of exhibits for people to look at and the other room will be items available for swap or sale."
Mr Lowenthal said he would have a range of items from his collection on display including bottles, petrol-ianna and tin toys.
Other displays will include a collection of ladies handbags, powder compacts and accessories, lots of toys, tools, gramophones and wireless radios.
"There is a lot of nostalgia for people (in the collections), they recognise items from their childhood their parents and grandparents had," Mr Lowenthal said
"They flashback in time to when they were younger."
The Warrnambool Bottle and Collectables Fair is on Saturday and Sunday at the Wannon Rooms. Show opens each day at 9am, and closes at 5pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday.
