SENSATIONAL: The 72nd Moyneyana Festival draws to a close on Australia Day after a month of activities in Port Fairy. The hard-working committee has done another remarkable job putting together the event for locals and tourists. A free community breakfast on Port Fairy's Fiddlers Green opens proceedings on Sunday while other activities are also planned for the day. The festival finishes with a free movie at Reardon Theatre on Sunday night.
GET THERE: The Port Fairy Jazz Festival is the next major event in the town. The festival is on from February 7 to 9. The organising committee is looking for volunteers to assist in the running of this year's event. For more details call into the tourist information centre.
