Verdict: With a strong American season under his belt and an impressive run of form from the World Series Sprintcars, 'Jmac' is one of the hot favourites to claim another classic crown.
KERRY MADSEN

Highest finish: First (2005, 2007, 2008)
Verdict: A three-time champion and World of Outlaws regular is not one to be discounted when considering favourites for the classic.
The Sydney export will be looking for redemption at Premier Speedway after crashing out in the recent World Series Sprintcars finale.
COREY MCCULLAGH

Verdict: The fire will be burning brightly under the 2018 winner who will be eager to make amends after his title defence last year ended prematurely due to injury.

Verdict: After waiting decades for his chance to taste classic glory, don't expect Farr to give away his title easily.

Verdict: Having the Australian number one on your car is guaranteed to bring you some attention and with it some confidence.
Scheuerle will be looking to show why he is one of the nation's top sprintcar drivers.

Verdict: US-based driver who will be determined to make a mark after losing his American ride. Three-time champion who is too shrewd to discount.
STEVEN LINES

Verdict: A two-time winner and a regular visitor to Premier Speedway will cross the border again with hopes of a third title. Everything must go right if Lines is to become a three-time winner.
