The South Australian opposition is holding a shadow cabinet meeting on Kangaroo Island in the wake of the devastating bushfires.

Labor's frontbenchers will also meet local businesses, volunteers and tourism operators while on the island on Monday.
"Over the past week, as a state opposition, we have offered bipartisan support for constructive ways the state government can help the Adelaide Hills and Kangaroo Island communities recover from the bushfires," Opposition Leader Peter Malinauskas said.
"People want to see political leaders working together in a bipartisan way in response to these events, and this visit will ensure state Labor can help to provide a well-informed response to these bushfires."
The visit comes after Sunday's launch of a $1 million marketing campaign to lure tourists to SA's bushfire-hit regions.
Premier Steven Marshall said the campaign was about "drawing a line in the sand" and declaring South Australia was open for business.
Mr Malinauskas said the opposition "wholeheartedly" supported the tourism push.
