O'Keefe's top-ranked side has a semi-final against Mount Gambier Lakers on Saturday February 1.
Gynes, who averages 14 points a game, went down with an Achilles injury before Christmas.
"We can't wait to get her back," O'Keefe said.

The Mermaids leader is also hoping Carly Peake will be right for the final after she took a heavy knock (possibly concussion) in the team's 71-49 win against Colac Kookas on Saturday night.
The playing coach said her team's win over the Kookas was a "good way to end the season going into finals".
The Mermaids have Big V division one try-outs on Tuesday and Thursday this week with new coach Lee Primmer.
The CBL team will have a training session on the Wednesday before its semi-final.
Warrnambool Seahawks fell 82-71 to the Kookas in their final match of the CBL season.
