Charlotte is coming off some strong YPL performances last week.
She claimed best figures of 1-13 against North West Wizards.
"It's a good experience, you make a lot of new friends there and also play a fair bit of cricket," she said of the week that included six matches.
"It's just something you never forget, really."
The teenager also took 2-9 against Mallee Murray in a 40-over match back in December.
The Warrnambool College year nine student said she was enjoying her second season with the Waves.
"It's really good to see the girls levels getting better and better each year," she said.
"It's really good to play with lots of other talented people, it's lots of fun."
While Charlotte has been impressing with the ball for the Waves, she wants to improve her batting.
"(My goal) would probably be to keep improving my batting and having a bit more of bat and making lots of runs," she said.
Above all, she is enjoying the team aspect of cricket.
"I really enjoy just getting out there and playing with a really good group of girls and playing the game," she said.
The Waves won five matches to finish on top of the Renegades League conference in the YPL.
Charlotte has taken seven wickets for Brierly this season, playing with both the under 17s girls and under 15 boys.
She also hit a season-high 20 not out for the Bulls under 17 girls side against East Warrnambool YCW.
