The 11th staging of the annual show will be held at Victoria Park in Koroit on Saturday.
Koroit Truck Show committee member Graeme Morris said plans were going well.
"Last year we had about 140 trucks and we are pretty confident of getting to that mark again," Mr Morris said.
"We have had a lot of interest, a lot of people have been getting in touch and saying they are coming down for it.
"We have great support locally and we also have people coming from all over the place.
"The great thing about it is we have all sorts of trucks, new and vintage trucks, work trucks, trucks for show, there's always a great variety.
"But it's not just trucks, there will be motorbikes and cars as well, the place will be packed.
"And we have the stunt motorcycles coming back which people love."
Mr Morris said one of the reasons the truck show was so successful was the support it received from its sponsors.
He said the Rig of the Show wins $1000 and $2500 worth of truck products.
"All up we have $40,000 in prizes which is a very significant amount," Mr Morris said.
"There are a lot of different categories people can enter their trucks in."
Entry to the truck show is $10, with under 16s free.
Part of the proceeds will go to the truck show's 2020 charity partner the Warrnambool Special Development School.
Mr Morris said over the past 10 years the truck show had donated close to $10,000 to charity.
While vehicles of all shapes and sizes will take centre stage at the truck show, there will also be a variety of entertainment.
This will include a children's area, a buckin' bull machine and live music.
The Truckie's Sprint will be again be a feature, although Mr Morris said he may be a doubtful starter.
"I might have put on just a little bit over Christmas so I'm not locked in," he said with a laugh.
"But we'll have a crack field, it's always a well contested event."
The other popular novelty event is the Tug-O-War.
The winner of this battle will win $1000.
"Get yourself a team, men or women," Mr Morris said.
