The 14-year-old female was found in Warrnambool on Wednesday afternoon.
Earlier: Warrnambool police are asking for the public's help to locate a missing Warrnambool teenager.
Sophie Ratcliff, 14, has been missing since late on Tuesday.
She is believed to be wearing a black top, black Adidas pants and possibly has a black back pack.
Warrnambool police Sergeant Tom Morris said there was no suspicion of foul play in her disappearance.
"Her family are concerned about her whereabouts and safety," Sergeant Morris said.
"This is out of character for Sophie. It is believed she is still in the Warrnambool area and we need to make sure she is OK."
Sergeant Morris said Sophie was known to frequent the area around the Liebig Street McDonalds store, the Warrnambool breakwater and the skate park near the Lady Bay Resort.
