The historic Robin Boyd-designed information centre at Tower Hill will receive some much needed repairs thanks to a letter from one of the park's regular visitors.

Koroit's Leon Carey noticed dry rot in the fascia and window frames on the heritage-listed building in November 2019 and decided to write to south-west politicians Roma Britnell and Gayle Tierney.
"I think it's great you can raise an issue locally and it gets through to the minister and they respond appropriately," Mr Carey said.
"I wrote to Roma and Gayle and asked them to work together to get the building fixed and this is the result."
Member for South West Coast Roma Britnell said she had raised Tower Hill in parliament on a number of occasions.
"This building is such a historically important building in our region, we can see the rot that has set into the timber, we are very pleased the minister (Lily D'Ambrosio) has expedited some funds to begin the repairs," she said.
Tower Hill visitor centre manager Terry O'Keefe has welcomed the funding for the repairs.
"We now have around 275,000 visitors to the park annually and we want to show everything off at its best," he said.
"This building is designed to reflect the volcanic cones, it's a pretty clever design."
