Emergency crews responded to reports of a blaze at the popular farm and business after a fire broke out in the kitchen around 4pm.
Berry World's Heather Nicholls said they were devastated to find the whole building destroyed.
"The whole building is gone, it was basically tin filled with polystyrene, once it lights you can't stop it," she said.
"It's devastating as it's one of our busiest times, but we also know that in the scheme of things with Australia burning it's a minor mishap.
"We are still trading today."
CFA district six officer Mark Hildebrand said the fire took about half an hour to bring under control.
"It started in the restaurant kitchen where it looks like an appliance caught on fire," he said.
"There was a warning put over the Timboon area around 5pm as the fire put up a fair bit of smoke.
"Customers were evacuated and there was extensive damage to the building."
More to come.
