As fires continue to rage through the country, a group of Port Fairy children are doing their bit to help those communities affected.

Friends (pictured) Adele Gibson 8, Beatix Clift 8, Edie Clift 11, Eliza Ross 10, Lola Payne 10, Leila Gibson 10 and Lachie Payne 12, have been busy raising money in a very tasty way.
The group started baking cupcakes on Sunday and have been selling them outside their houses in Gratton and Bank streets.
In total, they have baked almost 150 cupcakes, raising $462 along the way. All money raised from the cupcakes will be given to the Red Cross fire appeal.
